GENERAL CONDITIONS for SERVICE AGREEMENT

1. This plan does not cover services required on boilers, furnaces, duct work, radiators, registers, water storage tanks, zone valves, digital or clock thermostats, blowers for units used in air conditioning, circulators used for domestic hot water, domestic coils, tempering valves, humidifiers or any other control or part of the heating system not specifically mentioned in this plan. We do not cover parts and labor resulting from damages due to acts of God, flooding, fire, tampering, or because the dwelling was unoccupied or unattended.

2. This plan is only for residential fuel oil customers who purchase oil exclusively from Bi-County Fuels, Inc. Fuel from any other source voids this contract.

3. You are to provide suitable storage with outside connections properly vented and unimpaired access for fuel delivery. We are not liable for damage due to tank failure.

4. It is understood that our service shall be prompt and efficient. We will not be responsible for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control.

5. This service contract covers oil burner equipment only.

6. This service agreement becomes effective following inspection and approval of your heating system. Repairs required to place your equipment in acceptable condition are excluded from this plan and charged separately.

7. The terms of this plan shall be for one year from the date of the initial acceptance and will be automatically renewed on the anniversary date each year. This plan may be canceled by either party in writing 30 days from the billing date. This plan is not pro-rated and without written notice of cancellation within the 30-day period, the full cost is due and payable. Renewal costs are not guaranteed.

8. This plan does not include service calls resulting from blown fuses or circuit breakers, emergency switches turned off, thermostats set improperly, and electrical power failure.

9. Will call customers must give 48 hours notice for delivery. Minimum delivery is 150 gallons. Delivery anytime other than regular business hours will be billed at time ½.
